In teaching you “club” or “social” dancing, we present you with dance styles you will find when you attend our dances, other dance events, or when you go to swing or salsa clubs. You'll see the way people actually dance, their styles, and how they interact. In Swing Etc classes we rotate partners, building the skills and instincts needed to keep students acting spontaneously in social settings, enabling them to relate to the music as well as each other.
Social dancing engenders friendship and social interaction; you can meet new people and adopt exciting new ways in which to interact with them. After all, dancing is not just about learning the steps! It is enriching in a myriad of other ways that can permeate into the entirety of your life!
